The Inbox Triage Engine

Sweeps your executive's email + Slack twice a day, drafts replies to the obvious stuff, and hands you a 5-line "what actually needs your attention" list.

Saves 6 hours/week Submitted by Ava Morrison, Executive Assistant to a Startup CEO

What it does

Twice a day, this agent ingests every unread message in your executive's inbox plus their Slack DMs and channels they're tagged in. It auto-drafts replies to anything routine (scheduling, FYI acknowledgments, "thanks for sending"), saves them to drafts for one-click approval, then surfaces the 5 messages that actually need a human decision — ranked by urgency and sender importance. Cuts the EA inbox-management cycle from 90 minutes to 15.

The Manus prompt

Copy this prompt and paste it into Manus AI to run the agent.

Twice daily (9am and 2pm), scan my executive's Gmail inbox plus their Slack DMs and channels they're @mentioned in since the last run. For routine items (scheduling responses, FYI acknowledgments, "thanks" replies, calendar confirmations), draft a reply in their voice and save to drafts — never auto-send. For everything else, output a 5-line summary email to me titled "Needs [Executive name]'s attention" with: sender, one-line context, recommended action, and urgency tag. Skip newsletters and marketing emails entirely.
